Connect one Shopify store to a Rinhelp workspace. The connection lets your team look up order status and tracking, and lets visitors or teammates request refunds that a teammate approves in the shared inbox.

## Connect your store

Before you begin, have the store's `myshopify.com` domain and permission to install an app.

1. Open `Shop` in the workspace sidebar.
2. Enter the store domain in `myshopify domain`, such as `your-store.myshopify.com`.
3. Select `Connect Shopify`.
4. Complete Shopify's authorization screen.
5. Return to Rinhelp and check for `Shopify is connected.`

If a store is already connected, the button says `Reconnect`. A workspace can connect only one store at a time.

## Look up an order

The order lookup needs the customer-facing order number and the email address on the order. It returns the order's status and tracking information. It does not change the order.

## Handle a refund

Create a request, then review it before approving:

1. Select `Request refund` in the inbox and enter `Order number`, `Email on the order`, and, if needed, `Amount (optional)` and `Reason (optional)`.
2. Select `Send to inbox`.
3. Open the new refund request in the inbox and check `Amount`, `Status`, `Reason`, and `Requested by`.
4. Choose `Approve and refund` to send the refund to Shopify, or `Reject` to close the request without refunding the order.

If the status is `executing`, do not approve again. Select `Check Shopify status` first because the first request may have reached Shopify even if Rinhelp has not received a clear result.

For the terminal and AI-client versions of these actions, see the [tools reference](/docs/mcp-server/tools). For the rest of the inbox, see [Reply to customers](/docs/shared-inbox/quick-tour).
