# Move from Kustomer to Rinhelp

Kustomer conversations, messages, notes and customers move to Rinhelp. Kustomer’s search only reaches records updated in the last two years, so anything older needs its separate archive search.

Limit used: 1,000 requests a minute (Enterprise plan, API key), about 2 per conversation. Rinhelp takes up to 3,000 conversations a minute. Importing is free: it never emails your customers, never runs Rin and never counts toward a plan.

A Kustomer admin creates an API key for your AI agent. They can also switch single MCP tools on or off to decide what it sees.

### Will Kustomer conversations older than two years come across?

Yes, but not through normal search, which only sees records updated in the last two years. Your AI agent reaches older ones with Kustomer’s archive search.

### Will the import slow Kustomer down for my team?

Teammates in the app have their own 1,000-a-minute limit, separate from the API key’s. The import only uses the API side.

### Can I limit what the Kustomer MCP server shows my AI agent?

Yes. A Kustomer admin can switch each MCP tool on or off, and the server only reads, never writes.
