How answers work

Understand citations, confidence thresholds, and explicit fallback behavior.

Rinhelp answers from the pages in the workspace’s index. It retrieves relevant passages, generates an answer in the visitor’s language, and attaches citations to the supporting pages.

Citations are part of the answer

Every supported reply links back to the public page it used. A citation lets the visitor verify the answer and gives your team a direct place to update when the answer needs to change.

Confidence has a boundary

When the indexed pages do not provide enough evidence, Rinhelp says it cannot answer. The fallback is intentional: a missing answer is safer than inventing a policy, price, or product behavior.

Language follows the visitor

Visitors can ask questions in their own language. The agent responds in that language while grounding the content in the same indexed pages.

Improve coverage with evidence

When an answer is incomplete, update the source page with the missing fact, refresh indexing, and ask the question again. Use the citation and the inbox conversation to locate the right page rather than adding an unsupported prompt instruction.
