Change widget appearance

Set the widget image, color, position, title, and greeting.

Open Widget in the workspace. The form on the left changes the widget, and the preview on the right updates as you edit it.

Change the widget

• Widget image lets you Upload image, Replace image, or Remove image. Use PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 2 MiB. Square images work best. Each side can be up to 2048 pixels, with a maximum of 4 million pixels total.
• Color accepts a color picker or a three- or six-digit hexadecimal value such as #0f766e.
• Position can be Bottom right or Bottom left.
• Title is the heading visitors see in the chat panel.
• Greeting is the first message visitors see.

Select Save changes after editing. Look for the Settings saved confirmation.

Write a greeting that tells customers what to ask, such as “Ask about setup, billing, or shipping.” For general questions, the widget uses the pages in your help pages.

When the look is right, use Install the chat widget to copy the script tag. Use Test and improve answers to test answers.
