Connect support email

Forward your existing support mailbox into Rinhelp and verify delivery.

Rinhelp can receive messages from your existing support address. You keep the mailbox and its public address, then add a forwarding rule to the forwarding address Rinhelp gives you.

Get your forwarding address

  1. Open Email in the workspace sidebar.
  2. Enter the support address that should forward into Rinhelp, such as support@yourdomain.com.
  3. Select Create forwarding target.
  4. Copy the exact Rinhelp forward-to address shown by Rinhelp.

Keep your current email provider and support address. When you add forwarding, keep a copy of each message in the original mailbox.

Add the forwarding rule

Use the admin console for the provider that hosts your support mailbox:

  • Google Workspace Gmail routing: create a rule for the support address, add the Rinhelp address as a recipient, and keep the mailbox copy. Google may require a forwarding confirmation.
  • Microsoft 365 Exchange mailboxes: open the support mailbox, enable email forwarding, paste the Rinhelp address, and keep the mailbox copy. An admin may need to allow external forwarding.

Your provider may use different names for forwarding rules. The Rinhelp address must be copied exactly.

Verify delivery

  1. Return to Email in Rinhelp.
  2. Select Send test to support@.
  3. Wait for the forwarded message to reach Rinhelp.
  4. Leave the forwarding rule enabled after the test succeeds.

While Rinhelp waits, the page shows Test sent. Waiting for the forwarded message to appear…. If the test fails, check the address, provider confirmation, external-forwarding policy, and spam or quarantine rules before trying again.

Email conversations appear in the shared inbox alongside widget conversations. For mailbox delivery problems, first confirm that the original mailbox received the test and that the forward points to the exact address shown in Rinhelp.
