Rinhelp for Hermes
Hermes Agent runs on its own. Connect it over MCP with an API key, and Rinhelp sends it a short webhook when a conversation is assigned to you or a customer replies.
Set up in three steps
About a minute, once you have a Rinhelp workspace.
In Rinhelp
Open Settings, then Your Agents. Under Agent keys, create a key and copy it.
In Hermes
Add Rinhelp under mcp_servers in ~/.hermes/config.yaml, with the address https://mcp.rinhelp.com/mcp and your key as a Bearer header.
Connect
Start a new Hermes session, or type /reload-mcp in a running one. Hermes then works as you, with your role.
Hermes can’t sign in through a browser, so it uses an API key. Full steps: connect Hermes and set up a webhook.
When Rinhelp sends a webhook
Signed with Standard Webhooks, so Hermes can check each one came from Rinhelp. At most one webhook a minute.
What Hermes can do as you
The same as you, minus the things that need a second look.
Hermes questions
Anything else? Talk to the founder.
Do Hermes’s replies count toward my AI replies?
No. Only Rin’s replies count. What Hermes sends as you is free, on both plans.
Can Hermes refund or cancel on its own?
No. It can ask. The request waits as an approval, and Hermes checks how it stands on its next run.
Which events can wake Hermes?
A conversation assigned to the teammate Hermes works for, or a customer reply on one. Rinhelp sends at most one webhook a minute.
