Test Rin as much as you like
Trying Rin in “Test Rin” no longer uses your trial or your AI replies, on any plan.

Ask Rin a question to see how it would answer. Nothing is saved.
Question
Can I skip next month’s box?
Yes. Open Account > Subscription and choose “Skip next box” before the 25th. You won’t be charged that month, and your boxes start again the month after.
Need a longer break? From the same page you can pause for up to three months.
[1] Skipping or pausing your subscription
Ask Rin a question under Settings > Chat widget > Test Rin to see how it would answer, before or after you start the Rin trial. Nothing is saved and nothing is spent, up to 50 questions a day. Your 50 trial AI replies now go only to answering your customers.
Smaller fixes
- Rin’s answers now stream into the chat widget as Rin writes them, instead of in bursts, and a customer who opens the chat widget mid-answer picks it up where it is.
- On a shared computer, signing in to the chat widget now brings along only chats from the last hour, so an earlier visitor’s conversations and your replies to them can’t reach the wrong person.
- When Rin is off, the chat widget shows the greeting you set, instead of a fixed one.
- Leaving a form with unsaved edits asks Leave without saving? first, once even when several forms have changes.
- Opening a Rinhelp link while signed out shows sign-in there, and takes you to that page once you’re in.
- Your AI agent’s Action log says what each action touched, like “Refund $24.50 on Order #1001”, links its conversation, and names who approved it.
- An AI agent or Rin can no longer make a new chat widget secret without an owner’s approval, since it signs out every signed-in customer.
- Conversations Rin has say “Rin is in charge”.
- Bold, Italic and Link with nothing selected put your cursor between the marks, ready to type.
- The custom domain field accepts a pasted web address, and the chat widget’s website list turns down an address with no domain.
- A Gmail or Outlook support address no longer offers to set up gmail.com or outlook.com for sending.
- Everything Rin writes to a customer, including its handoff message and what it says after a refund, is in the customer’s language. The reason your team reads on a request stays in English, and the customer’s message names the amount.
- Rin’s handoff message now speaks to the customer, saying the team is looking at what they asked for.
- The note Rin leaves at a handoff is titled Handoff summary, and the empty inbox no longer repeats the banner above it.
- Old help center links of imported articles lead to them with or without a language in the address.
- Imported articles bring over every image, including ones embedded in the page or with brackets in their description, and images copy much faster.
- A conversation with a message that only has files imports, and the message shows its files without a gap above them.
- The chat widget’s Help search finds titles with accents, like “École”, and words inside formatting.
- The chat widget and help center load faster when you have many articles.
- Website sources whose address redirects, for example to
www., can be read again. - A settings form stays editable while another button on the same page saves, like Send a test email on Settings > Email.
