Move from Crisp to Rinhelp

By , founder of Rinhelp · Facts checked · Markdown for AI agents

Crisp conversations, customer profiles and published “Knowledge Base” articles move through Crisp’s official MCP or its REST API, and shortcuts arrive from a CSV you export. Plan around Crisp’s daily API quota: it has no published number, and a long history may need more than one day.

10,000no per-minute limit to time it by

Limit used: no per-minute number (daily quota per integration, number not published), about 2 per conversation. Rinhelp takes up to 3,000 conversations a minute.

Free. Importing never emails your customers, never runs Rin and never counts toward a plan.

Needs a person. Export your shortcuts as a CSV in the Crisp app, and make a token that can only read for the AI agent. If the move hits the daily quota, request an increase on the Crisp Marketplace.

Chat app: Claude or ChatGPT

Connect Crisp’s official MCP with a read-only token and follow https://rinhelp.com/migrate/crisp.md to bring my “Knowledge Base” articles and recent conversations into Rinhelp. I’ll upload my shortcuts CSV for the saved replies. Don’t use any Crisp tool that sends messages, edits people or deletes articles.

Use https://rinhelp.com/migrate/crisp.md to copy my full Crisp history with the REST API and the plugin token I give you. Page conversations 50 at a time, then page each thread’s messages backwards by timestamp, because Crisp returns only the latest batch. When the daily quota runs out, save your place and carry on the next day.

Crisp facts that shape the move

  • Crisp has an official MCP server that lists your recent conversations, your CRM profiles and your published “Knowledge Base” articles. Source, checked .

  • The Crisp MCP can also send messages, edit profiles and delete “Knowledge Base” articles, so give it a token that can only read. Source, checked .

  • Which Crisp MCP tools work depends on the token’s permissions and the features your Crisp workspace has. Source, checked .

  • Crisp limits each integration with a request quota that resets daily, and publishes no number for it. Source, checked .

  • When an integration hits Crisp’s quota, it stops until you request a daily quota increase on the Marketplace. Source, checked .

  • The Crisp REST API pages conversations 20 to 50 at a time, 20 by default. Source, checked .

  • Crisp returns only the last batch of messages in a long conversation, so the AI agent pages back by timestamp to get the whole thread. Source, checked .

  • Crisp’s whole-conversation export is a transcript emailed one conversation at a time, not a bulk export. Source, checked .

  • Crisp shortcuts can be exported and imported as a CSV file. Source, checked .

Questions

Can I move from Crisp without a coding tool?

Yes. Crisp’s official MCP lets Claude or ChatGPT read your conversations and published “Knowledge Base” articles, as long as the token you give it can only read.

Why did my Crisp move stop partway?

Crisp gives each integration a daily request quota. Once it runs out, wait for the daily reset or request a quota increase on the Crisp Marketplace, and the AI agent picks up where it left off.

How do my Crisp shortcuts come across?

Export them as a CSV in Crisp and hand the file to the AI agent. Each shortcut becomes a shared saved reply in plain text.
