Reply emails that read like real email
When a customer has left the chat widget, your replies now reach them with a real subject, a quote of what they wrote, your name, and all in one email thread.
Replies to chat widget customers
A customer who leaves the chat widget gets your replies by email. Those emails now carry the topic of their first message as the subject, quote what they wrote since your last reply, and end with the name of the teammate who replied. Each reply continues the same email thread, even when a reply is resent or two go out at once. Replies from your team are also marked as written by a person, so mail apps don’t file them as automatic replies.
Email conversations
A conversation that started by email now shows the email’s subject, without “Re:” or “Fwd:”, in the inbox and at the top of the conversation. Earlier email conversations got their subject too.
Smaller fixes
- Creating a workspace or accepting an invitation now asks for Your name, since customers see it when you reply. You can change it under Settings > Profile. A teammate without a name shows as “Teammate” in the chat widget.
- The website you enter when you create a workspace is now added to your knowledge sources, so Rin has something to answer from.
- Add website accepts a bare address like
example.com. - The invitation page says who invited which email to which workspace, and tells you straight away if the invitation can’t be accepted.
- When your website and a help center article disagree, Rin answers from the article.
- An image pasted into an article lands where your cursor was, on its own line, with alt text.
- An error note closes when you save again.
- The sign-in screen’s buttons have proper borders, and Continue with Google shows Google’s logo.
- On a phone, a waiting approval’s bar ends in Review, so it reads as something to open.
